The 189th birthday tithi puja celebration of Bhagavan Sri Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa Deva
The 189th birthtithi puja celebration of Bhagavan Sri Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa Deva was celebrated here on 12.03.2024. Celebration started at 4.30 am with mangalarati and vedic chanting. Prabhatferi (procession) carrying Sri Sri Thakur's image on palki alongwith kirtan group was arranged which moved around the village. Special puja, homa, devotional songs were performed. A talk on the life and teachings of the Thakur Sri Ramakrishna Deva was given by Swami Amalatmananda. A Geeti-Alekhya on Sri Sri Thakur was performed by a group of artists from Alambazar, Kolkata.

Celebration of National Youth Day 2024 at Somsar Ramakrishna Mission.
Ramakrishna Mission, Somsar celebrated National Youth Day on 12 January 2023 with a procession carrying Swami Vivekananda’s photo. About 200 students from our village school participated. Swami Amalatmananda spoke about Swamiji’s teachings to them. SWADESH-MANTRA was recited on this occasion.

Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama Somsar has celebrated Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav on 15 August 2023. Students of Gadadhar Abhyudaya Prakalpa were participated in this celebration. Multiple events are took place in this celebration.

On the occasion of 125th Anniversary Celebration of Ramakrishna Mission, Somsar Ashrama has celebrated "Non-Residential Youth Conference" or "অনাবাসিক যুব সম্মেলন". 236 students were attented from 8 to 2 p.m. on 30th July, 2023.

On the occasion of 125th Anniversary Celebration of Ramakrishna Mission, Somsar Ashrama has celebrated "Residential Youth Conference" or "আবাসিক যুব সম্মেলন". 50 residential delegates were participated from 15th July, 2023 - 17th July, 2023.
Monthly Medical Camp
Third Sunday and fourth Saturday of every english month medical camp is held here.Ten doctors come here and around 60 patients are treated on those days.
